Aviation Academy

V1 Aviation Academy was funded with the whole purpose to train the whole personnel needed to work in the aviation industry. We will train All crew needed in airplane and, we will train personnel in the ground, like handlers, mechanics, despatchers, etc. All this will be done in our campus in Colombia, South America.
All of our students will not only have the possibility to graduate in these majors, but also they could graduate from many more majors like: Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, and more.
The aeronautical sector, in recent years, has seen an important evolution; new companies dedicated to trade, developing new business units, without forgetting that, also, consolidated companies have expanded the services they provide. An increasing tourist development and a rising economy are determining factors for the flourishing of the sector in the world.
The new global economic conjuncture, in which the internationalization of companies and countries plays a very important role in the development of the world economy, has created new needs: rapid change in communications; new ways of negotiating, in space and time … … These events have led to more international trade relations, more travel, more sales and purchases, and for this, new logistical operating models are needed and increased resources for existing ones.
Currently, countries are continuously interacting from all points of view (social, political, cultural, economic …), which is promoting their continued development and economic growth and has generated new demand that has become a job opportunity. on the rise: being an airline pilot, charter flights etc.
In conclusion, with this large number of changes, the need to hire commercial aviation pilots has grown.
According to an official press release published by ICAO on December 16, 2013, international passenger traffic grew by 5.2%, with the Middle East lines registering the highest growth (10.9%) followed by Latin America with 8,6%.
ICAO also states that more than two million jobs are planned for pilots, maintenance personnel and air traffic controllers as a result of the retirement of qualified professionals and the growth of commercial air transport that is expected between now and 2030.
